ADX market value reaches Dh2.8 trillion as foreign investors drive new participation

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has hit a historic milestone with its market capitalization reaching Dh2.8 trillion by mid-2026. This growth is fueled by increased institutional participation and a significant influx of international investment. The trading value for the first half of the year reached Dh171 billion, reflecting high liquidity and investor confidence in the UAE’s diversified economic landscape.

For industrial firms and equipment buyers, a robust capital market translates into better financing options for large-scale asset acquisitions. With increased market liquidity, companies listed on the ADX or those supported by institutional investors have greater access to capital for upgrading manufacturing facilities and purchasing advanced industrial machinery. This financial stability also encourages international equipment manufacturers to establish local manufacturing and assembly hubs in Abu Dhabi, potentially lowering logistics costs for regional buyers.
